The VII International Meeting on Technological Innovation has been adapted to the current situation; for this reason, it will be held online.

It is important to inform that the corresponding author of each research work approved by the conference should send a pre-recorded video of the presentation on the established date according to the following indications: oral presentation 15 minutes and poster presentation 5 minutes, which should be sent by e-mail to viiencuentrointl@ufpso.edu.co until October 30, 2020.

The following aspects should be taken into account:

  • The papers should address theoretical and numerical aspects and/or practical applications related to the topic of interest.
  • There is no limit for presentations by authors, but there is a limit for the submission of articles established in each of the journals
  • When sending your abstract you should indicate if you wish to submit your article and select the journal that best fits the scope of your paper.
  • Articles should comply with the editorial policies of each of the journals
  • All slides should be in English Or Spanish.
  • The organizing committee will inform the date and time of the session in which the video will be presented.
  • The videos will be available for participants to watch during the poster and oral presentation session in which they were scheduled to be presented.

  • The participation of at least one author during the question session is mandatory in order to guarantee the publication of the paper in the congress proceedings and the issuance of the digital presentation certificate.
  • Check if there is a logo in the presentation that may conflict with the event sponsors.
  • To avoid the non-presentation during the VII International Meeting on Innovation, only the papers that have been presented orally will be published in the conference proceedings
Recommendations for recording the video are listed below:

  • Files should be in MP4 format - size / resolution 1920 x 1080px - aspect ratio 16:9.
  • The video should be recorded from a laptop or desktop computer with a good webcam. Recording from a cell phone is not recommended, due to the need to include presentation slides.
  • Choose a place where there is no interference from outside noise, as the audio quality will be superior.
  • Choose a location where you feel comfortable to record.
  • Give preference to environments with matte or neutral colors, making the ambient light to be absorbed and not reflected.
  • Natural light is essential to make a good video
  • It is recommended the recording to be from the upper body (head to waist).
  • Do not leave the camera below eye level to avoid image distortion.
  • Check the video frame for objects that may attract more attention, or surfaces that may reflect light, such as pictures, mirrors, etc.
  • Wear clothes that contrast with the background: dark background, light clothes and light background, dark clothes. Avoid striped, white, and floral clothing

  • Times New Roman font.
  • Title font-size 32.
  • Name of author(s) font-size 24 separated by "," (comma).
  • Institutional affiliation of the author(s) - City Country font-size 22 separated by "," (comma).
  • Faculty font-size 22.
  • Research group font-size 22.
  • Introduction font-size 20.
  • Objectives font-size 20.
  • Methodology font-size 20.
  • Results font-size 20.
  • Conclusions font-size 20.
  • References font-size 16.
The location and size of Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results, Conclusions and References can be modified. References, images, tables, and graphs should be with IEEE standard. Poster size measures 1 meter wide by 1.2 meters high.
